the flight duration is about 13hours but the flight arrived 30 minutes early in Schiphol Airport which is good because I only have about 30 minutes to catch my next flight to Paris. I chose window seat because I don't go toilet often (sometimes not at all) during flight. There was an Indonesian guy sit next to me outbound LAX and a woman from Sandakan in the aisle seat outbound  Stockholm. The woman and I have short transit and we have to run soon as we disembarking the plane.

We only started chat to each other before the breakfast been served. Most of the flight I just read my book (Dead Until Dark by Charlaine Harris).

Arrived in Terminal 2F around 8:30am and waiting my then boyfriend now husband arrive at the same terminal from Marseille (MRS).

Eleanor and Park

I just read Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell and I love it very much! It took me just two days to read the whole book. I usually spend at least 4-5 days for 300 pages book but not Eleanor and Park, I always want to know what happen next and next, and they are really cute (I feel like I'm 16 while reading this). 

The ending is left hanging 'Eleanor hadn't written him a letter, it was a postcard. Just three words long.' Three words long which I obviously thought 'I LOVE YOU' or 'I MISS YOU'. But it could be 'NOTHING EVER ENDS' a quote from The Watchmen (Alan Moore) or 'SEE YOU SOON'. Damn, I can't stop thinking, I need to know what's going on between them. I read in Goodreads that Rainbow Rowell she's not done with them yet, she's probably will write about them again someday (I'm hoping so much she will) and she also mentioned that the three words are 'happy and hopeful words'

Philippines 2011

Went to Philippines to visit my sister. I would like to share my feelings but It was a long one and sorrow. I can't even express and convey everything I wanted to say. It's burried inside and if I dig, it give me tears, I feel depress, confuse, regret, dissapointed, angry.... I thought praying helping to fix the brokenness inside me but it gives me more and more.
I lost my sister 3 weeks after my visit. She died of ovarian cancer at the age of 49. I can see her effort, fighting her pain. She was like 'I'm going to survive' and of course we all have HOPE for this. Asking miracle.
When I came to see her in her room, I remember, I am well prepared to see her condition. I didn't speak much to her because I don't know what I am going say or ask although I have a lots in my mind. All I wanted then was, TO BE WITH HER!
But, she lost her battle and we lost her!
Now she sleeps for eternity, painless and surrounded with angels and saints.

back to KK, I was so lucky I met my friend in the plane (Abbie) as she work as an air hostess and we experienced like 1st class hospitality in Air Asia ;) (first class service never happen in Air Asia unless you have good friend like mine)
